The vacancy
We’re the Pension Protection Fund. We protect millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. When these schemes fail, we’re ready to help.
We do this by paying our members, by charging a levy and by investing sustainably. Our work has a real impact on people’s lives, so we strive to do it well, with integrity and their future in mind.
We’re equivalent in size to a top 5 UK pension scheme and have developed a highly sophisticated, best-in-class investment strategy. Our culture combines private sector standards with a public service ethos.
We're always keen to hear from talented and dedicated professionals who share our values. We have a range of positions here at the PPF including communications, sustainability, customer service, legal, actuarial, investment, technology, risk, policy and finance, to name a few. No matter what your skills and experience may be, we have positions that could be suitable for you.
If we are not currently advertising for a position that interests you, not to worry, we would welcome receiving your details so we can be in touch when a suitable opportunity arises. Additionally, we understand the importance of being a diverse and inclusive place of work at all levels; we believe this will improve our performance and support our strategic priorities.
If you believe that you have a contribution to make to all the hard work the PPF does to support its members, then we look forward to receiving your speculative application.
We aim to contact you should an appropriate role become available. You can set alerts for when new roles are advertised on our website via the current vacancies page. If you subsequently see a suitable role after you have applied speculatively then please do not hesitate to apply directly for that role, too.
