We’re the Pension Protection Fund. We protect millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. When these schemes fail, we’re ready to help.

We do this by paying our members, by charging a levy and by investing sustainably. Our work has a real impact on people’s lives, so we strive to do it well, with integrity and their future in mind.

We’re delighted to be looking for a Cloud Computing Support Apprentice to join our IT Service Delivery team on a 24-month Apprenticeship.

The position will be a customer-facing member of the team and offers an opportunity for an individual who is looking to pursue a career within IT. The role will provide opportunities to investigate and fix IT service components and to rotate across service delivery areas on a regular basis. Reacting to challenges and cover for colleagues as necessary is an essential part of this position.

This position will be completing the Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship programme with our dedicated education provider.

Our ideal applicant will hold at minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject and GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). They must be able to show the willingness and desire to want to work within IT and demonstrate the ability to complete a range of work using a methodical, step-by-step approach to resolving issues.

PLEASE NOTE: You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar discipline – this is important – so someone with Level 3 IT or an IT related degree would not be eligible.

IMPORTANT: Applicants must have lived in England for a minimum of 3 years, must have a right to work, be aged 16+ and be able to provide a copy of their ID.
